SYTC 165th meeting minutes, April 15, 2014

We had a wonderful meeting last night. Regardless of the age range, clubs, proficiency level and professions, members and guests gathered together to share, to communicate, to learn, to comment, to grow and to enjoy. The sessions were described with quite unique and creative metaphors... Toastmaster Susan said that the joke session is like chewing gum, full of fun, and Table Topics session is like a box of chocolate because you never know what you're gonna get. GE of the night Ichi said: Evaluation session is like a mirror in which you can see what your speech performance looks like.

Member Kenneth commented later that "Our club is facing a lot of challenges because our members might be too busy. Luckily we have a lot of support from our fellow clubs from Chiayi and Tainan City". Indeed, we're very lucky and feel grateful to have many passionate and supportive TM members from every corner of the world. Coincidentally, we had the immediate past K Governor Doris, current K Governor Peyton and K Governor -to-be Karla in the meeting. What a VIP meeting it was. And it gives us confidence that SYTC will be getting better and better.

+ Next meeting will be held on May 6, 2014 Tuesday. 6:45 pm is available to enter the venue. Address: 新營區民族路21-61號，大宏王公社區活動中心3樓教室.

+ Officer Meeting of the month will be held on Tue.(4/29) evening at 6:30 pm in Donuts'. We will start the 1-hour officer meeting, followed with a reading discussion. All members and guests are welcome.
