SYTC 162nd meeting minutes, Mar. 04, 2014
It was a night full of learning. We learnt from several inspiring speeches. Dora shared with us how "Perseverance makes impossible possible" by her experience and stories. In the special interview program, Kenneth shared some tips to make ourselves and our organization(s) "anti-fragile", that are "step out", "try new things" and "learn from the mistakes". The attendees shared their thoughts responding to the questions related to the theme: "Adversity reveals genius; fortune conceals it." Their thoughts were positive and encouraging, showing that TM members and guests are the blessed people and willing to give more!
Besides, the participants all had assignments and had the opportunities to sharpen the communication and leadership skills.
We made some mistakes, but we got assistants (timer, ah counter, grammarian, and evaluators) to tell us what the mistakes were and we learnt how to improve it. That's the gain of joining the meetings!
Welcome 2 new members, Cloud Wei & Sophie Sun, joining our meetings and learning with us! Thanks for the 5 supporters from Chiayi clubs! Because of your passionate participation and support, the meeting could be successful!
