Shin Ying Toastmasters Club: SYTC 182nd meeting minutes, Jan. 06, 2015

It was the 1st meeting of the new year, 2015. Starting from this year, SYTC made some changes on the format of regular meetings. We add "Word of the day" introduced by Grammarian who will record the use of the word through the meeting. Besides, before introducing

the speakers, evaluators are invited to introduce the speech and give some words to the speakers. After each speech, 1 minute will be given for the attendees to write the comments to the speaker. The first try-out went quite smoothly.

We had 5 guests joining the meeting with us. In the Variety session, Susan warmed the attendees up with impromptu drama. In the Manual Speech Session, a new member Irene introduced herself with an impressively and excellent speech performance. Chin-Chi led the group to discuss about SYTC's outing. In the Table Topics session, Rose gave questions related to the theme. In the Evaluation session, in addition to the arranged evaluator, the attendees were also encouraged to give their comments. After the meeting, a new guest decided to join our club and become our member! What a cheerful news!
