Dear Fellow Toastmasters:

As you know, Taipei Toastmasters Club is the first Toastmasters Club in Taiwan , and was founded by Dr. Bennie Bough in 1958. Now, Taipei Toastmasters Club is going to be 50 years old. That is a quite historic event in this Island where 110 Clubs or so have been established already.

As members of Taipei , we are so happy to inform you that we are going to celebrate our 50^th anniversary on Jan. 5, 2008. We will invite back Dr. Bennie Bough to share this joyous moment with us. He has been more than 80 years old, but he is still very happy to bring his wife Kathi to be back to Taipei .

We sincerely welcome you to join this great event. The ceremony tickets are ready to be bought, unfortunately, we only can offer a capability of 200 seats, so please be advised to buy your tickets as soon as possible. The information of ticket order is as what below:

各位國際演講會會員，大家好！

大家都知道，台灣第一個英文演講會乃是於1958年，由Dr. Bennie Bough所創的台北英文演講會 (Taipei Toastmasters Club)。而今它已近五十歲了！在現今已有一百多餘演講會的我們台灣地區，這是一件頗具歷史意義的指標。
